The Space Governance Institute is an independent research, policy, educational, and analytical initiative operated under Prestiged Future Corp.
The Institute operates internationally, including activities conducted within Canada and the United Kingdom.
Academic & Research Statement
Unless otherwise stated, all academic research, analysis, publications, frameworks, papers, policy commentary, educational materials, and intellectual outputs produced by the Space Governance Institute are original works developed internally by the organisation and its contributors.
Current educational and academic foundations supporting the Institute’s work derive from individuals affiliated with The Open University, including alumni and current students engaged in ongoing studies.
The Space Governance Institute is an independent organisation and is not owned, operated, endorsed, accredited, or officially affiliated with The Open University unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
Intellectual Property & Attribution Policy
All original research, written material, analytical models, branding, publications, graphics, media outputs, institutional concepts, and related intellectual property produced by the Space Governance Institute remain the property of their respective authors and/or the Institute unless otherwise stated.
Where any research, publications, commentary, podcasts, interviews, articles, broadcasts, media productions, documentaries, digital content, or curated discussions reference, analyse, reproduce, discuss, summarise, adapt, or distribute the Institute’s work, appropriate and visible credit must be provided to:
- the original author(s),
- relevant publishers or publication platforms where applicable, and
- the Space Governance Institute.
No unauthorised implication of endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, accreditation, or official representation may be made without prior written permission from the Institute or the relevant rights holders.
Media Usage, Licensing & Research Support Policy
Any commercial reproduction, redistribution, adaptation, publication, broadcast, podcast production, documentary use, monetised media discussion, derivative presentation, or substantial utilisation of the research, publications, analytical frameworks, or intellectual property of the Space Governance Institute may require prior written authorisation from the Institute.
Organisations, publishers, content creators, researchers, production companies, educational entities, journalists, and media platforms seeking to utilise Institute material beyond reasonable quotation, academic reference, criticism, review, or applicable fair dealing/fair use exceptions are requested to obtain a Certificate of Authorisation issued by the Space Governance Institute prior to publication or distribution.
Where authorisation is granted, applicants may be requested to provide a voluntary research-support contribution or funding donation toward ongoing grants, educational initiatives, independent research development, operational activities, and future Institute projects.
All approved uses must maintain appropriate attribution standards and preserve the integrity of the original work and authorship.
Unauthorised commercial exploitation, substantial reproduction, institutional misrepresentation, or misleading use of Institute works may result in the restriction, revocation, or denial of future licensing permissions and may be subject to applicable intellectual property protections under relevant jurisdictions.
